Bird is one of Brooklyn’s first fashion destinations. The original location in Park Slope opened in the spring of 1999 and was joined next-door by BabyBird in 2002, and the new location on Smith Street opened in May of 2006. The boutiques feature women’s apparel, shoes and accessories by up-and-coming designers from New York, Los Angeles, Paris and London, as well as Japan and Scandinavia.
