New York, NY
If I were a guy, the D&G embroidered, military jackets would be my obsession. I would have to add one of these jackets to my wardrobe ... by any means necessary. These particular sport jackets pictured could be worn with denim or slacks and would fit any fashion sense - polished, rocker, urban, grunge - it would all depend on the jeans or slacks of choice. Boots, kicks, or dress shoes? Scarf, leather gloves, belt chain or skully? Tee, dress shirt, or sweater? I'm seeing distressed jeans, dark red zip-up cardigan with a high collar, blue button down shirt, and Ralph Lauren weather boots.
This is the sort of coat that would turn heads of both men and women alike (whatever your preference). These jackets are so rich in detailing, embroidery, cut and color - it's perfection. Domenico and Stefano showed rococo themed military jackets with distressed jeans; biker jackets and floral-printed velvet dinner jackets (not pictured) with dress slacks and, at times, velvet red shoes. The collection was the finest of the European shows and delivered something the well-dressed man could dream about.
Fellas, get this on your fall must have list. 10 years from now, people will still remark on your amazing jacket.
