Introduction
Wunderbloc is committed to your privacy. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available in our footer and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.
Information Collection
During the Registration process as a Shopper, you will be asked to provide some general identifying information, which will enable Wunderbloc to provide you with the best possible individualized service. Wunderbloc gathers from you: (i) contact information (such as your email address), (ii) demographic information (such as your gender and age) and (iii) other relevant and fashion-related information (such as interests and favorite designers).
Boutiques who register with Wunderbloc will be asked to provide general business information to verify store location and legal operating status in the state of New York. Wunderbloc also gathers contact information and other trade-related information (such as hours of operation and product specialties).
Registered Users (both Boutiques and Shoppers) who choose to execute transactions online via Wunderbloc will have their billing processed and handled by PayPal exclusively. Wunderbloc will not have access to your billing information.
Cookies
A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier that is sent to your browser from a website's computers and stored on your computer's hard drive. You can configure your browser to accept all cookies, reject all cookies, or notify you when a cookie is set. If you reject all cookies, you will not be able to use Wunderbloc products or services that require you to "sign in", and you may not be able to take full advantage of the Wunderbloc service. Wunderbloc uses its own cookies for a number of purposes, including to: access your information when you "sign in"; keep track of preferences you specify while you are using Wunderbloc's services; estimate and report our total audience size and traffic; and conduct research to improve Wunderbloc's content and services. We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our site.
Information Use
When you submit personally identifiable information to us, we use your personal information to operate, maintain and provide you with the best possible service and functionality offered by Wunderbloc.
Any personal information or video content that you voluntarily disclose online (in messages, reviews and/or within your public profile page, etc.) becomes publicly available and can be collected and used by others. Your username or first name is displayed to other users when you write reviews or send messages through the site and other Registered Users can contact you through messages and comments. Any videos that you submit to Wunderbloc will be processed by and available on blip.tv and may be redistributed through the Internet and other media channels, and may be viewed by the general public.
Wunderbloc may provide links to third-party websites. Since we do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for any personal information you may provide while on such sites, we encourage you to read the privacy policies for those websites before providing any of your personal information on such sites.
We use both your personally identifiable information and certain non-personally identifiable information (such as anonymous user usage data, cookies, IP addresses, browser type, and clickstream data) to improve the quality and design of the Wunderbloc site and to create new features, promotions, functionality, and services by storing, tracking and analyzing user preferences and trends.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
When you post a message, your username or alias that you are posting under is visible to other users. If you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return. Wunderbloc may be required to disclose personally identifiable information under special circumstances, such as to comply with subpoenas or when your actions violate the Wunderbloc Terms of Service. Wunderbloc may share non-personally identifiable information with business partners. No personally identifiable information will ever be used without your permission.
Wunderbloc does not rent, sell or share personal information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies except to provide products or services you've requested or when we have your permission. It may be necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Wunderbloc’s Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law. We will transfer information about you if Wunderbloc is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, Wunderbloc will notify you by email or place a prominent notice on the Wunderbloc website before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
As part of the buying and selling process on Wunderbloc, you will obtain the email addresses and/or shipping addresses of other Wunderbloc members via PayPal. By entering into our Terms of Service agreement, you agree that, with respect to other users' personal information that you obtain through Wunderbloc or through a Wunderbloc-related communication or Wunderbloc-facilitated transaction, Wunderbloc hereby grants to you a license to use such information only for Wunderbloc-related communications that are not unsolicited commercial messages. Therefore, without limiting the foregoing, you are not licensed to add a Wunderbloc user, even a user who has purchased an item from you, to your mail list (email or physical mail) without their express consent.
We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order or legal process served on our website.
Correcting Your Information
As a Registered User of Wunderbloc, you may review, update or delete the registration information you have provided to us at any time. You may do so by clicking on the "My Admin" link when you log in.
Security
The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information on our registration or order forms, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). To learn more about our SSL, follow this link. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however.
