THE MILAN SHOWS. THE SHOES. Amazing. I know I am a bit obsessive when it comes to heel height. I rather not talk about the shoe if it is less than 3 1/2'' but I LOOOOOVE high heels. Now throw in a platform too, and I'm in heaven. None of these look the least bit comfortable beside the Versace wedge, but, but, but they look so beeeeautiful on! Actually, the Prada's are probably comfortable. Prada is really good at making gorgeous high heels that are comfortable on for about 4 hours. ...And that's 4 hours standing and walking and a few sittings.
Yes, ladies, tower, tower, tower!
There is a steep competition between Gucci and Prada for the best shoe. I'm perplexed at how these two fashion houses continue to create heart skipping, take-my-breath away shoes (with Gianfranco Ferre following close behind). After staring at these shoes for hours. I think I need the Prada sandal with the red and black strap across the toes. I need them.
Pictured: First row, and the first shoe on the second row, Gucci.
Second row right, Versace. There was a notable amount of lucite applied to shoes on the runways, emerging again from a few past seasons.
And the last rows, Prada, and it looks like this because I absolutely lost my mind with these shoes. *gasp*
