There has been so much written about Katie Holmes' attire at the Met Costume Gala last week. Very red gown, very blue shoes. Gold accessories, gorgeously dark hair in a perfect bob. *Gasp* Everytime she kicked out her feet or gracefully strided along, these blue shoes would peek out. Ooh! I LOVE IT!
Vintage Armani gown and the shoes are by none other than Roger Vivier. No, no, no, no--check the heel out on that shoe...you might miss it because the top is blue and the bottom is a sharp silver. The girl can do no wrong.
Who says you have to remain monochrome in your attire or add the usual metallic-colored shoe to a bold-colored gown? The red and blue works. The theme is superhero so there is a purpose and she didn't have to don a cape or some odd attachment to acknowledge that it is a costume gala. Just a slight nod acknowledging the theme...brilliant and classy! LOVE HER!
