NEW YORK, LONDON, PARIS, MILAN, TOKYO AND HONG KONG GET READY! On Saturday, 9/6, YSL will be distributing in each city 5,000 cotton totes to passers-by with Stefano Pilati's 3rd issue of Manifesto Magazine inside. Manifesto is a magazine artfully designed to present the YSL collection in its entirety including shoes and other accessories. Pilato felt that consumer magazines only featured a few of the collection's looks and not much of the accessories which, for some designers, are the source of their heaviest sales numbers. So, Manifesto will feature everything in the YSL Fall/Winter collection and it is free!
Naomi Campbell is all over it, naturally, dressed in the Fall/Winter collection. But more importantly, gals, is the free bag in which it will be given. The tote was designed by Pilati with the YSL logo upside down and seems to be all the buzz...not the mag which I'm interested in. A short behind-the-scenes clip will debut exclusively on ysl.com that same day.
So where, where, where can you get your free bag with Manifesto Saturday? They haven't said exactly but my guess is somewhere around the tents at 40th & 6th. I also wouldn't rule out outside the store in SOHO.
Now ladies, do contain yourselves. No elbows!
